Velocity is launching the New Dance Initiative to sustain, fuel, and foster dance artists and brave new work for years to come. We’re looking boldly into the future to ensure a lasting legacy of daring dance in Seattle.
One of Velocity’s most important roles is helping artists develop new projects. Donors to the New Dance Initiative allow Velocity to provide choreographers with unparalleled access to rehearsal space, artistic/technological resources, a professional theater, full production support, multi-faceted mentorship, and national advocacy. By donating to the New Dance Initiative, you amplify Velocity’s legacy of developing leading dancers & choreographers and distinguishing Seattle as a national hotbed for outstanding dance.
