Rising Seattle stars Kate Wallich + The YC join forces with Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Andrew Bartee to create The YC’s first evening length work Super Eagle, premiering as part of Velocity’s Made in Seattle dance development program. Featuring an original score by Lena Simon (Kairos, Pollens, Mary Lambert), film by cinematographer Jacob Rosen, costumes by fashion designer Pierre Davis/NoSesso and breath-taking performances by Lavinia VagoMatt Drews, Andrew Bartee + Kate Wallich.

WATCH Super Eagle: The Overture Trailer

Join us for a screening of the film Super Eagle: The Overture, a visual prelude to the world premiere of The YC‘s Super Eagle February 13-16, followed by a conversation demystifying the art of collaboration and the challenges of translation. The YC’s stellar company shares their process from conception to co-creation — with Kate Wallich (director/choreographer), Jacob Rosen (cinematographer), Andrew Bartee (co-choreographer), Lena Simon (sound designer), Lavinia Vago (co-director), Matt Drews (dance artist) and fashion designer Pierre Davis/Noesso.
