Travelogue: Cambodian + American Performing Artists in Dialogue
> Speakeasy Screening + Conversation with Peggy Piacenza + Amelia Reeber
In November 2011, three American and four Cambodian performing artists came together for a month-long creative process in Cambodia. Focused on “dreaming the sacred through traditional and contemporary forms of dance” the process culminated in an informal community showing in Phnom Penh. A short documentary film based on their experience was recently completed. Join Seattle dance artists Peggy Piacenza and Amelia Reeber as they share their time dancing and dialoguing with Cambodian artists.
